Two words....Laser Printer ...I will never use ink again...I was wondering why my ink was always going bad...well, if you dont use it often it will need to be refilled

Yes unless you need to print photos not larger than 8x10.

I agree.

I got a used Brother Color Laser Printer about 9-years ago. I've only changed 2 of the 3 color toners and the black toners twice. that includes the toners that were already in it when I got the printer.

I only print about 30 pages per work week though, but that doesn't seem bad to me. ( plus about 50 pages every tax season ) that's about 14,490 pages with my rough estimate. but I also randomly print personal stuff

4 toner cartridges and over 14,500 pages = 3,625 pages per toner cartridge

What happened to Canon inkjet printers using individual color tanks? I'm trying to find a replacement for my 10 year old printer. All of them I see have the "HP Style" combo cartridge for color.

If you are in market for just b/w laser printer.. then I would suggest Brother HL 2320D.. I bought it a year ago and refilled the toner by myself without any issue.. just follow YouTube vid.. huge money saver

I had this printer. I recently recycled it after several attempts of trying to remedy issues with the ink carts. Back to using my 15 year old wired HP B&W.

As others have said, you can't go wrong with a Brother laser printer. They just work. And Brother doesn't try to rob you on the cost of replacement toner.

I've had the Brother HL-L2390DW for probably 5 years with no issues.
