He's the dude who wrote the XKCD comics. Basically he takes all the questions people ask when they are extremely high and answers them in a real science way that's also amusing. Like what would happen if a baseball was thrown as an appreciable percent the speed of light. Or "what would happen if the earth stopped turning suddenly". Lot of fun hypotheticals that he answers with physics and humor.
This is actually a fantastic title. His two "What if?" books are among the very best reading a curious ADHD person will ever find.

This is actually a fantastic title. His two "What if?" books are among the very best reading a curious ADHD person will ever find.

This is the weakest of all 3 of the books, but it is still fantastic. The What If books are amongst my favorite books of all time and both still sit on my nightstand for casual reading almost daily!
