reasonable staple for me; it's not gran crema, or it's not $7.50, but it's pretty good. thanks OP

The listing is questionable, it shows hazelnut brown sugar as gran crema

Are you guys actually making espresso with these Lavazza whole bean espresso deals? I only do auto drip coffee and I like their pre ground that is meant for auto drip (Perfetto is the best) but I didn't think their espresso beans were that good for drip (which isn't surprising since that's not what they are marketed for). I'm just curious how you guys brew the Lavazza whole beans.

How is it compared to Peets for espresso shots?
Never mind the price, taste/quality wise I mean https://a.co/d/9o7PtXG

If anyone's concerned with freshness, the beans I've gotten through Amazon have been no more than 1 month from roast. I live next to a city; I think it's a factor of how populated a location is since the warehouse will cycle through stock faster. Idk 100% tho and might've just been lucky

Peet's at Costco is $18 for two pounds and infinitely better than this. Really hard to drink this even for free once you get used to above average coffee.

Same. I've had better luck with this than super crema or even oro. At the end of the day freshness > all else.

I've used these for espresso from my Breville Barista. Not as good as the beans I roast myself, but it works in a pinch. I mainly use it for cold brewing.

I've never had any flavor of this coffee that I would personally consider "good" it's all just meh coffee that we end up using when we run out of our good stuff. Honestly these "deals" that this brand is constantly cycling though on a rotation across flavors is likely more than base retail should be . I would buy an alternative for slightly more money honestly because these become a " well I need to drink this at some point now" purchase pretty easily.
