However, worth noting these are going for less than $1/per whereas Eneloops recently hit $3+/per. I put Amazon batteries in devices I care less about and save the Eneloops for nicer gear.
They are in any case better than using Alkalines -- I have yet to have a NiMH leak and destroy a device.

I have tons of these that are AAA and haven't had one fail yet.
Also, I haven't seen any decent AA rechargeables on here for a while unless you buy a new charger with it.
Nice find. S&S is a bit cheaper and I am in no real rush.

Definitely not going to be as good. I have a batch that I think was made circa august 2014 (I think the date is on the side) when they were black with the white tops. Made in China. I'm throwing them out this week as they won't hold a charge despite discharge/refresh cycles on my charger. I've let them go through that twice and they won't even power a basic, logitech laptop mouse. Also, Amazon has likely gone through one or two vendor changes on said batteries, as well as, the natural advancements of improved techniques.
I have eneloops from about 10 years ago that are still going strong.
Granted, I probably paid <$1 for the amazon ones and maybe $1.75 to $2ish (waited for SD) for the eneloops. Will the eneloops hold another 10 years to make them worthwhile?
