QVO uses QLC memory, EVO uses TLC, so "not as good" yeah... depending on you want
Speed: A wash, as it being SATA is going to be the major slowing point, you're not getting 5000MB/s transfer rates with this regardless of brand.
Capacity: the QVO is better because well you get more crammed into that little box, EVO versions of this drive max out at 4TB
Longevity: TLC is superior, but if you're using it mostly as a storage device (e.g. Plex server) then it probably doesn't make any difference either way. Edit: Just looked up the specs on this TBW is 2880TB, so I wouldn't worry about longevity, the warranty covers 3 years or TBW whatever comes first so that aspect should be fine.

SSDs are coming down in price so fast it might not be long before I start using them in my Plex server in place of spinners.

Am there, doing that. We have our Plex server in a traditional audio/HT component-style case and sits up front with the rest of the HT system. Moving to QVOs allowed us silence yet another part of that system, while reducing the power draw. Worth it.
