I can vouch for Ponyo, haven't seen the others yet; It's an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, that's very different from the Disney version. It's extremely well reviewed.

Just an FYI for those that dont already know, if you're an AT&T wireless customer and have a Family Plan, you should be getting the HBOmax/max streaming service for free included with your plan and it has a dedicated section for Studio Ghibli movies. Great way to check them out if you dont already own them!

Of those 3, I've only seen Porco Rosso. It's one of my favorites. But it's very different than a lot of other big Miyazaki films like Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. It's more low key, melancholy, and allegorical.

I'm still working through the list of Ghibli films, but of those listed here, I can tell you My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service are just incredible.

I love Only Yesterday, but some people might not like it or find it boring. There's no fantasy elements, just a drama about a lady who goes to the rural countryside for vacation and reminisces a lot about her childhood. It's a very cozy film that makes me feel nostalgic.

Second this. Nausicaa was one of my daughter's early very favorites and we wound up getting the manga hardcover [amazon.com] - you can take a look at some of the reviews of it to get a sense of the story (spoiler: as the other reviewer said, it's amazing).
