You don't need it... Also given that it's 5 dollars off regular price. If you really need it you can pick it up at regular price. Lastly this will likely stay at this price range or go lower.

I don't need this, i don't need this, i don't need this...

But my old ThinkPad P50 laptop with currently 2x2TB M.2 with only 100GB usage still has an empty 2.5-inch bay, tough choice.

The prices of everything else in this world are going up like crazy, items like food etc., but it's good to see SSD prices finally coming down to attractive levels!

Hopefully they continue to tumble even more.

There has to be a point where making an SSD is way cheaper than making a mechanical drive.

I know it's not going to happen anytime soon, but I'd like to see 4TB for a hundred bucks. At the rate things are going, maybe in 2024. Am I being too optimistic? Maybe. But I guess we'll see what happens.

I bought a few of these from office Depot for $25 on clearance last week. Many other drives 9n clearance as well.

My bad, they were 860 drives for $25.

Still incompatible with AM3+ motherboards, don't know why this is the only brand that has that problem.

Making something cheaper than another thing has little to do with pricing it cheaper.

tom's hardware likes it a lot if that helps anyone's decision Smilie

https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...got-better

and thanks for posting this too OP Smilie

wow that is a low price compared to back in the day when SSD drives were more of a new technology kind of thing Smilie

That is a hard decision indeed.. wait and see if the price drops lower or jump on it right now...

But that's not really the regular price. It's just the regular price today.
