Though the display being ON while headset is in use is still an issue. On the Arctis pro wireless you could set the display to turn off on timeout. So the OLED screen is not getting burned out. Also having the display on is distracting if someone wants to use the headset in a dark room. Kinda weird that they removed features that the Arctis pro wireless already had.
Personally, I stay wired for Xbox. I haven't found a wireless headset designed for Xbox that doesn't have connection issues. That proprietary connection is a real drag.
I'd love to test this on PC, but I just picked up the HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless for about half the price. I'm told my mic isn't as clear as it was on my Bose QuietComfort gaming headset, but the sound is great, and 300 hour battery life is clutch.
I also don't recommend using any DTS or spatial audio that these headsets use. Might be personal preference, but I usually leave them off. Dolby Access on the PC seems to work best if I use anything.

Prefer it over my Astro A50s, tho I wouldn't get rid of those either

Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and Arctis Nova Pro Wireless X: Firmware Update
- Add "Power Saving" setting in System Setting menu
— When Power Saving is set to ON, dongle will turn off when going into USB suspend
— When Power Saving is set to OFF, dongle will stay ON during USB suspend
Of course, I might be mistaken. I'll have to connect it to check (I don't keep it plugged in because of a toddler who loves to play with it 😊). I was on one of the Reddit threads and others confirmed too that it was fixed. Have you made sure to check with power saving ON?
