Hmmm.. Only 10g of protein. So we're paying for a little tuna and some beans?

I remember when I use to not look nor care about sodium levels. Now it's so depressing.

600mg is not the recommended FDA amount for one day 2300mg is. So this is 26%, yes a lot but not unusual for a meal if you combine it with a salad.

Got it last time it was on sale for the same price. Tastes pretty good.

Ate it with my Lance peanut butter crackers [samsclub.com] from Sam's Club.

Clicked like, due to the price, but if you're above the age of 20 or would eat those regularly, I say no due to the astronomical sodium. That's an entire days' worth of sodium to me for one packet! Wow. Salt's cheap and they overdose it in all of the processed food, and take otherwise healthy food and make it crap so that we can all end up on high BP meds at a young age. Just a warning to those who would end up hospitalized over this

So tuna, quinoa and beans are supposed to taste good with no salt? Sounds bland as hell and I'd certainly not buy the product again...

There are salt-free flavorings, way more nowadays than the standard Mrs. Dash.

Or spices…citrus (real lemon or crystallized packet), hot sauce, etc.

You can add in salt for yourself a lot easier than others can take it out.

I know Smilie That's why I specified for those of us on sodium-restricted.

Any doc especially heart, circulatory or endocrine, will tell you that 2300 is way way too much for an average health adult of normal activity level, and most Americans get far more of that in their diet, enough to cause major, life-threatening issues sooner rather than later.

I'm not that old but I remember when tuna go on sale every couple weeks 4/$1.

Now it's a dollar for a little tuna mixed with beans and weed seed.

I love Zesty Lemon flavor better, but it's not on sale.

The $1 @ Walmart item is Starkist "Tuna Creations" which is a different product and about 1/2 the size (2.6oz) of this Starkist "Smart Bowls" (4.5oz) product.
