Well its more about the 360hz. That is a monitor for competitive gaming.
360Hz.. I'm not super familiar with the science here, but isn't there a breaking point where the human eye can no longer distinguish between frames? I recall testing a while back where pro gamers blind tested 120hz vs 240hz and the conclusion was that there was very little practical difference. Then again, I'm not the target audience for these super high refresh rate monitors so what do I know /shrug

Got one to pair with my G14 2060 laptop. I doubt I'll get 360hz in most games, but I've got it connected to a 4K 60 productivity monitor now. And it almost never hits 60 FPS.

I imagine it depends on the build of the computer. Probably more noticeable on a high end computer vs a cheap build.

Re read the last sentence to yourself, you're answering your own question.

Professional gamers, like professional athletes, do not operate the same as regular people. Their reaction times and precision are basically superhuman.

and at the highest level, you will give yourself every possible advantage you can. shaving off a few ms can make a difference.

I would not recommend this screen to anyone. but I understand it's existence, and I fully support the idea of all screens being such a high refresh that it's not even advertised anymore.

i'll probably bite on this, especially if it is anything like the aw2521h, which i own and is the best monitor i have for gaming (even more so than my dell g3223q). highly recommended for anyone looking for a 24-25" 1080p with a ridiculously high refresh.

between this and the aw2521h, they are nearly identical, but with some key differences for console gaming. pc gaming, at least for me, this (aw2523hf) would be the better choice.

The Dell Alienware AW2523HF and the Dell Alienware AW2521H are both great 360Hz gaming monitors with a few differences. The AW2521H has native G-SYNC support, while the AW2523HF has native FreeSync support. It gives you a few extra features if you have an NVIDIA graphics card, like NVIDIA's Reflex Latency Analyzer to measure the latency of your entire setup, and the FreeSync support on the AW2523HF is beneficial if you have an AMD graphics card. On the other hand, the AW2523HF is better for console gaming because it has a Console Mode that downscales 4k images, which the AW2521H doesn't have.

Lmao!
24" is actually the standard size for Comp play. They were always cheaper then the 27" and generally had everything the people wanted, and a slightly more compact size. A TON of esport cafe's in asia use them instead of 27" cause of that and guess where most of the gamers that this targeted are?

I prefer27" cause i have the space for it. But also 1440p

Would you?

Maybe see the displays in person instead of asking moot questions? Isn't there this isn't there that. Isn't it time you woke up & smelled some flowers? There is most definitely a difference between 120hz ->240hz in terms of fluidity & blurriness for IPS/TN panels

Stop parroting mainstream bs talking points to down-play technological innovation

lol just read your last sentence, you definitely need to stop posting, if you aren't the target aurience why are you even here? definitely a troll trying to look smart by regurgitating an outdated article
Wow.. you took the time to write a whole paragraph just to mock me. I feel so blessed.

The elitism and toxicity in the gaming community is astounding.
