It is almost like the topping is a powdery fake cheese (like something that comes in a mac and cheese envelope but colored red).
There is really not a lot of flavor to this, and when you add more to try to get some taste it becomes gritty.
I tried this on chicken and a few other things but could not find a 'home' for this spice on any food. IMHO you are better with using a salad dressing powder on a pasta salad etc,
But - maybe others will like this

For those familiar with the Detroit-area restaurant Olga's, this is what's on their super-addictive Snackers appetizer, it is similar to what I described above except they use oil instead of butter, fry their bread, and serve them with a delicious, spreadable almond cheese.
