these smell nice for about a week, tried them twice- neither seemed to last anywhere NEAR claims on the pack. Zero surprise, but I still dislike that advertising can be SO completely fabricated.

these smell nice for about a week, tried them twice- neither seemed to last anywhere NEAR claims on the pack. Zero surprise, but I still dislike that advertising can be SO completely fabricated.

Work great in a bathroom. They last about 3 months plus a little, not the 180 days they claim. It helps if you push the button on the back once in a while to release scent.

These will come in a cardboard box and some (or all) will have leaked. My shipment was reeking even without opening the box. Didn't return it but won't buy again in this package

I use these in my storage closet. Smells great for about 2 months in that small area. Can't even tell dog toys is in there.

Have you ever heard of the marketing term ? Just cut whatever time they advertised down in half or more and you will get the actual fact.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but just to clarify, the claim is actually up to 45 days per. So the [up to] 180 days is bc it's a 4-pack, and assuming you use them one at a time in the same small space.
I am also leaning towards the idea that the smaller the -preferably enclosed- space (like someone else mentioned, e.g., a linen closet), the longer the scent will presumably last.
Personally I've used them in bathrooms (notably *not* enclosed spaces, as the doors stay open when not in use), and while they don't put off a *strong* or room-filling scent for more than a week or 2, they do seem to offer a fainter, sort of residual scent effect for at least another couple weeks, ime.
