I watched his video when it came out, bought some powder detergent and have never looked back. The pre wash detergent was a game changer. My dishwasher just has the little divot so I never thought about what it really was. Never again with these pods.

How do the Kirkland ones compare? They're a bit cheaper ($12/115)

From my experience these don't work nearly as well as the regular Finish tabs.

Must depend on the dishwasher because I've had the opposite experience.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank abre

I recently switched to these because I have a water softener and the more harsh detergents were causing corrosion/etching on my glassware. It took a long time to figure out that it was the combination of soft water and detergent that was causing it.

I had no clue this could be the cause! We have the same issue with glassware and also have a water softener. Will see if this makes a difference. Thank you!

Not a fan of these, they don't help the dirty plate dysfunction and never finish the job... I wish they'd finish on the plates face but never do, there's always something still there and even with an extra wipe, can't ever get it off.

I knew it wasn't hard water because we have a softener and using vinegar or lime away didn't remove the white spots. If you search online for soft water glass corrosion you will find some information about what that etching looks like. This detergent does seem to help but probably a liquid detergent where you can use about half the normal amount would be even better. Same problem with the laundry too so we started using half the amount of detergent in the washer and it seems to help the clothes from getting broken down as well. It kind of make sense because with soft water you just don't need as much detergent.

These work great for us. We use these in place of the Kirkland brand when not on sale.

Ordered these in a deal. They are the worst. Stick together on their own even before you touch them. Summer temp might have caused it during shipping but nevertheless became useless. Never again.
