The referer has to be on a monthly plan. That looks to me like they just give you referral credits for each person. If any one of your referrals don't complete the plan they bought or they port out, then you lose the credits and anything they gave you previously.
Most people buy the 3 month or more at a time, so not many people would be on their single month plans. IMHO.

Hey I am probably switching to Mint this week, and was also planning to switch my wife's line. Would it be better to just start my new plan, then"refer" her to get a better deal?

Yes, if you can wait for the first sim to arrive and activatd so you can get the new link
I am on 10G pan, and renewal of 3 months cost $105 (more than renewal of 6 months or 12 months).
If i refer a friend who will sign up by my link for 3 months of 4g - it will only cost him/her $45. Will Mint credit me $105 for renewal after my friend is on his/her plan for 15 days??

Yes, this offer would allow you to get three additional months if she signs up using your email or SMS link. This is important as your "personal url" does not seem to qualify for the three months. Only referrals made through email or SMS.
I think an important detail that is worth mentioning in the original post is that the referral has to be an email or SMS referral for the three additional months to be added. The personal URL does not seem to be included in this promo. Also the "three free months" are based on the referrer's current plan rate and it only applies for you first referral ever in the month of April. So if this is the first time referring someone, make sure you make an SMS or email referral (instead of sharing your personal URL available on the app).
I am thinking of switching to that tmobile $10 plan because mint for a year would be $5 more per month. I can't think of a way to save more with mint, especially since I never refer anyone.
can someone confirm? if we move 2 lines to mint then 3 months free offer available for both the lines. me and my wife using tmobile thinking to move to mint but thinking how to get free 3 months both the lines
