This is BS. I ordered 2 sets of these last month and when I got my notification that they were going to ship the price went up to $9 each set. Amazon has done this severa times with S&S in the last few months.

They did the same to me a few years ago, but I haven't seen it since. They tried to argue with me saying that prices can fluctuate, yada yada, but after some back and forth, they honored the price I originally had. Since then, I screen shot every single S&S order I make and email it to myself and haven't had an issue, thankfully. I also bought the Colgate deal last month but got the discounted price on mine. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I thought everyone knew that Amazon prices were constantly fluctuating. When I sign up for S&S it's to get the discounted price, then after I receive the item I cancel. I'll put an item in my cart and the price has gone up or down the next day sometimes even a few hours later.

This is very basic toothpaste with no whitening or any other stuff other than fluoride added. I buy it to donate to the local homeless shelter.

Deal is dead? There is no coupon to clip. I tried this on my Amazon business account w/ Prime (which works fine for all deals I've tried) on Android app, chrome mobile, and chrome desktop.

Now they send you a S&S order reminder about a week before the order ships out. You can see the most current price. Often times I have to cancel several items from my cart because the prices have gone up. I think most customers don't pay attention to this and think they are getting the original sale price/discount when their order arrives.
