14oz bag for $5.03 is a good deal, about $0.36/oz

However, if you really like almonds, the big ol' 40oz bag is $13.68 normally, $13.00 with 5% S&S, or $0.325/oz. Was as low as $9.98 for a long time last year, picked up a bunch of them at that price!

40oz bag of choco-sugar-almonds:
https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Diamo...th=1&psc=1

or, if you want actually healthy almonds without the sugar rush, natural are the same price:
https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Diamo...to_dp&th=1

I like to dump some cocoa powder into the natural almonds bag and shake it up to make my own choco-almonds without the sugar. Admittedly it's a lot messier to eat without the sugar to stick the cocoa powder to the almonds. And yeah, I know some folks can't stand the taste of unsugared cocoa. Genetics is like that....

And no, I'm not trying to preach to you what to eat, just presenting options for the same price.

I may have to give that a try. I'm actually one of what I suspect is a very small number of people in the US whose doctor actually told them they were getting too little sodium and needed to eat more of it. Smilie

Check local Walmart for Planters pumpkin spice almonds 15.25 oz. Real close in flavor to this chocolate ones. Picked up a few for $0.5 per, ymmv.

Because stevia is a healthy sugar alternative and it cuts down on sugar while retaining the flavor that people are accustomed to.

Waiting for a deal on the broasted version. Broasted almonds are so much better. Crispy outside, tender juicy inside.

For those that prefer traditional almonds the everyday price at Walmart for 16oz is $6.

Meijer is actually slightly lower at $5.50 if you have them nearby.

And they often have buy one get one 50% off. That's when I usually stock up.

That sounds like a good idea.
Because I have to tell ya ... these things are like crack. Once you start eating them it's too late you'll end up in the corner covered in cocoa shaking wishing you had another bag.

I know, right? They're dangerous! The first step is admitting you have a problem, or so they say Wink
The only thing worse than these for me is pistachios. If there are any in my house, I will *not* stop until they're gone, it is not possible to resist, the only safe course of action is not to buy them...but that's really really difficult-they're pistachios after all! If someone mixed a bag of these with a bag of pistachios, that'd be the end of me.Drool
