Seems to be a limit of only 1 at this price but still a decent price. It was $10 cheaper a while back during that 2 hour deal

Suppose I am jaded abit but $17.19/TB for a WD EasyStore doesn't seem very exciting. Now the 14TB @ $200 several weeks ago coupled with the 15% recycle promo, well nearly had a credit card meltdown.

There is a certain advantage in some use cases, though, to one big disk instead of a few smaller discs. I'd much prefer this over two 8TBs, even if the two 8TBs were cheaper (provided I otherwise have good backups). I'm willing to pay a small premium per TB for that.

But yeah, that 14TB deal was amazing. Sorry I didn't jump on it.

The 14TB is on sale for $229.99. +$30 over BF.

Better deal per TB, unless you need the extra 2TB or a 16TB for a RAID array.

Was $265.99 a couple of weeks ago during the Best Buy flash sale....so this price is relatively close to the deal last time.

Deal is dead on the 16TB. It is still live on the 14TB I posted above.

Thanks. Yes, 14TB is cheaper per TB. So it's a better deal. Too bad that it was cheaper on BF... But then I didn't need it back then, LOL. Oh well.

In November, I bought 3 x 14TB @ $170 ea ($200 sale price + 15% recycle promo). Still have one unused promo certificate. Have been waiting / hoping the price will go back down to $200 but that may not happen with developing economic conditions. The 14TB currently "on sale" for $230 which xlates to $195 with recycle coupon...thinking time to take that off the table. Still have one open bay in my QNAP 653D NAS.

As a sidebar, I may have a few years on other members here and recall clearly late 70's-early 80's when inflation exploded. It is difficult to convery the panic mentality that takes over. People start buying things they may not really need at that moment but do so because they fear the prices will go up which only further drives up prices.
