The mini has known issue, it stops capturing from time to time, can be hours or days. Blink knows, has no solution, refuse to recall. They just silently keep on selling the defected products pretending nothing happened. Blink customer service literally said "it is out of our control". I don't understand then who should control it. Does not sound to be a responsible company. The other versions of their cameras so far work fine. Just the "mini" is not good.

I got some from woot last year and after an hour with tech support still couldn't get them active. They said that once they are registered to an account they can't be linked to another one. He was probably wrong, but I just sent them back. Obviously wouldn't be a problem with new ones.

They work with the sync module 1 too but no local storage since I'm grandfathered I did not see why I should upgrade to module 2
