Current pyrex in the USA is not what the entire Pyrex brand name was built on, which was durable borosilicate baking glass. I've had two family dinners ruined by the poor quality Pyrex from the big box stores. The stuff they brand in the USA likes to explode, because you know, they needed to save 15 percent while producing it.
I like the ones that that have a plastic lid.

A good price but I might lean toward ceramic for most needs in absence of borosilicate Pyrex.

Can you explain? I have pyrex glassware. Is there a problem with that?

Not sure what's the difference but AH GLASS is always heavier than the similar one on Pyrex. I prefer Pyrex because of this.

Pyrex has historically been borosilicate. It expands and contracts much less than normal glass so is happier with temperature changes. Newer Pyrex branded glass has a blue/green color to it and is much less tolerant.

Yep. Get the European version in all caps (PYREX) instead of the US version in lowercase (pyrex).

this is small. Guess a lot of you here live in apartments/ 1 person household/ are doing baked goods?

how long do we have to pick it up after we order?
I am not looking to have to come there at the snap of their fingers. Stores not understanding that people have lives, might need a couple weeks before it's convenient.

I bought one of these because I needed an extra pan in a pinch, but the sides are really curved so that the outer inch or so of your dish is shallower than the center.

I suspect it's easier to clean and it doesn't matter if you're roasting things, but for something like a cake or a casserole, I'd rather have straighter edges and so my food has uniform thickness.
