I want a 200 piece 2" impact bit set that covers everything. Torx, allen, security bits.. everything....
Normally I'd say $20 is too much for the typical fare impact bit sets, but this one is a solid deal since it comes with the 3/8" adapter, sockets and a few nut drivers. Not to mention that the rest of the kit is packed with 1" bits. IMO this is worth it.

How does it compare to this set for the same price?

The original two cases each include two impact sockets which make them much better deals. But an important difference between the OP's two items is that the Lowes set comes with a clear case, whereas the amazon link includes a solid yellow case. Having a bunch of these dewalt cases, I much prefer the clear case for easily identifying what's (generally) in it.

I have recently purchased this set as it had everything I needed for my impact driver. I prefer the clear case over the solid yellow case and the 18,000+ ratings also helped me choose this over the one listed by the OP.

I also have this set and it's my go to one that i throw in my tool bag.
I did buy it for $14.64 in January of 2020. Just a reference.

IMO the 1" long bits are useless; too short for use in an impact driver. They should make a set of all 2" and longer bits, of various tips

So are both of these identical? With the exception of the cases?....

Personally, the nut drivers are worthless due to the lack of depth before hitting the rear of the plate.

The vast majority of my cordless tools are DeWalt, but the Makita Gold driver bits are far better than the other companies bits that are in the "value" price range of bits.

If you haven't tried them... just buy a single ph2 for a few bucks, and test it out. I was gifted a set (I had used DeWalts previously) and you will know the difference right away.

The amazon picture might be old. The description says it is a clear case, and user submitted pictures show a clear case.

The amazon one shows product images that include a pull tire and extended flex torq. I don't see that in the lowe's product page. Is the amazon one a different product and therefore the better one to get? Minus the clear case.
