Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

Not having any luck with these devices, open second unit looks almost new.
Power on E error display
Charge the battery no more E error but now the scooter will not run😢

Extra warranties provide peace of mind on large purchases, but are usually favorable to the store not consumer. At this price and based on how rapidly this tech changes year to year, I wouldn't recommend a warranty.
I don't normally get extended warranties, but to be fair, the 3-year warranty was $22 bucks. For that amount, if I can recoup anything more than $22 (in the next three years), usually the motor or battery pack will run much higher, that's a win. And since this is a refurb unit, we're already working with some replacement/secondary parts, such as the purple dashboard circuit for some buyers.

For those waiting for my update with an OEM dashboard, here it is.

Those who purchased an aftermarket dash could not update the BMS. but had access to all other retail functions, with an OEM dash, I was able to update the BMS (I believe the latest is 1.4.9?). Also, someone gave me a great tip, but wanted to confirm it on my end, if you can borrow an OEM dash from someone, you can update everything and then change back to your previous dash (if you were lucky to get a BT enabled one), all retail functions will still remain on the scooter.

You need a running start before the motor kicks in.

Thanks.....I figured it out. I had to push off like 2 or 3 times before it kicked in. It scared the hell outta me before it went

Not when going down a steep incline, you may burn out the e-brakes.

Got mine. I love it, super high quality and fast enough without modding. This thing is heavy, I don't get the sense that making it foldable would be valuable for anything other than stuffing it in the trunk.

Will put together the second one soon!

Many, including myself just wanted retail capabilities back, that's why I "modded" it.

I have played around with my scooter for a couple of days. I think it is pretty fun, but I am not a fan of feeling every sidewalk crack.. The braking leaves a lot to be desired. I have ridden on mostly flat concrete, but there have been a few hills. The front brakes are a little help, but the rear is pretty much useless. The rear reminds me of a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle. This is my first scooter, but I think I will be looking for a significant upgrade. I will probably try to sell it locally for 250 as well as the spare I bought, or it may even go back to walmart

Gotta switch to pneumatic tires. Bird put solid rubber ones since they were used as rentals.

Looks like after flashing the dash and updating the serial, I'm still maxed at 9mph for Sports mode? Or is that indicator for only eco mode? And my bms also updated to 1.4.9 as well. My battery updates fine on the app from the unit. Was this an issue for others?

It's also stuck on trying to update Bluetooth connection to 1.9 or something?? That update keeps coming up so I'm assuming it is failing there as well.
