Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

I got two for sale in LA (county).

Pickup only though. Located in Lake Balboa or Sylmar.
What made you decide to sell yours since you're able to limit the speed now?

Was able to upgrade Master Control Firmware to 1.6.2.

BMS update failed.

Can lock and unlock remotely

Can view scooter location on gps

Speed was unlocked to 18mph.

The speed control section on my Segway app is in Chinese but I was able to scroll from 3 to 9mph and it holds. Also able to move from no S to white S to red S.

Will look into the BMS update after dinner.

Edit: I bought this one for those that missed my other post: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...asin_title
I did exactly the same, with the same dashboard from amazon.
Dash is on 1.6.2 now, BLM will not update.
Speed unlocked to 18mph.

However it feels as if it has way less torque now. Not as quick off the line as it was before - did you notice similar?
Only have a PC/iphone and neither can connect to the scooter to flash or change the SN. Need to borrow a friends android to continue.

-- EDIT, see below

changing the serial number to a T seems to have unclocked both the lighting effects and brought the speed limit to ~20mph. Also feel a bit more torque now... hmm.

Found this - I only have PC/iphone - so flashing has now finally worked absent an android phone.
https://joeybabcock.me/blog/tutor...nebot-esx/

After installing the new dash.
https://www.amazon.com/Facaily-Bl...ds&sr=1-23

I updated to 1.6.2.

Then I connect via NINEBOT IAP via windows10.

I was then able to update the SN to N2GRDXXXXX to N2GTDXXXXX which then adds the lighting effects option in the app.

Sweet !

I tried it just now. It was mentioned before by another user but I missed it.

So changing the serial to a "T" allows lighting control thru the app.

It also allows to change speed mode thru the dashboard now instead of just the app.

I mentioned that a few times (to try changing the SN), but no one ever responded to it, lol. So it looks like a generic/aftermarket dashboard has pretty much all retail functionalities besides being able to update BMS.

I was just able upgrade the firmware without making any changes to dash. Tried yesterday, update was failing, just tried again and it worked like a charm!

So you've updated to 1.6.2?

After a few reviews with aftermarket dashes, I've updated the Wiki for others who want to regain most retail functionality back.

Actually it's v2.0.1. This is what the app says!

Looks like they just released another between the time this thread was posted and now! I'm going to check to see if I can update. Do you have access to lighting settings and speed modes on the app now?

Not sure about light settings! New bee here! I do not see anything in app for light settings.. I use an iphone.. and one thing I noticed is now we can scroll through the mode like sports and limited, but the settings would not retain. It will always come back to sports mode. But I was able to reduce the speed to lower end. I will have to try out tomorrow to see if it's working. I have set it to 6km/h. Hack to do this is to hold the speed mode scroller(do not release ur finger) and then adjust the speed limit. Speed limit will remain in the adjusted setting however mode will switch back to standard

Hmm wonder if Segway had many complaints and they released a new version?

Regardless, I was one of the unlucky ones with the non BT dash so maybe I needed a replacement anyway.

Do you mind taking a screenshot of your FW version? Maybe that's the app version? I just tried updating mine and the latest firmware is 1.6.2 (Master Control Firmware)

Sure, I have a screenshot. Do we have a way to upload in SD?
