I purchased this a couple of months ago and it is not flaky at all - each can is like pink mush - not at all appetizing.
Most of the cans I received were dented as well.
Not sure if the quality has changed due to the pandemic, which has been the case with other high demand products but even at this price I would not order again. Just my experience...

But apparently at the time they were messing up bigtime in shipping. I ordered 2 packs of 48 cans. Only got one. Tried to return it and they credited my CC for the 96 cans and told me to keep the 48 I got.
So it ended up 48 cans of tuna soup for free.
/edit - and note "drained weight" is 4 ounces/can
"Same here, more like Tuna soup."
Perfect description...
Canned white, or albacore (0.32 parts per million of mercury). Children under six can eat up to one 3-ounce portion a month; children from 6-12, two 4.5-ounce portions a month. Adults, including pregnant women, can safely eat this kind of tuna up to three times a month (women, 6-ounce portions; men, 8-ounce portions).
Solid white is also higher in Omega-3, which is a good thing. And it tastes a heck of a lot better!!
