I've been seeing this more and more during open play at our local courts. I just use an existing backpack I have, which can fit some snacks, a towel, a water bottle, and some spare balls. I carry a spare or two of paddles too, in case I need to lend to a friend.

I would say, you'd only need this if you don't already have another multi-use bag. Just more junk. It's less crucial than let's say a softball/baseball bag, in which there are specific space for cleats, and bats. PB paddles are relatively small compared to a tennis racket, so can fit in a standard backpack.

This is extremely true. I currently use a laptop backpack that was just sitting around collecting dust. Separate padded laptop compartment is perfect for a paddle or two and the other small things (braces, snacks, water, balls, etc) go in the larger compartments.

Laptop backpack deals are fairly common here too and are far more versatile than the bag here
