If you click the product details, then look for size and fit, you will find this info:

This suit has a 6" drop which is the difference between the size of jacket & pants. For example: a 36R jacket includes a 30W pant

The suit is sold as a set, you can't seem to pick different sizes pants.

How do you pick the pant size? It only asks you for the blazer size.

You cannot pick pant size differently, these are package deals with very unreal drop, like 40-42 jacket people will wear 34 pants? WHAT? Who are they basing this off, some random european models?

Anyway, do not buy these unless you bought one and it worked perfect, or you like to mail back stuff. Even same pant (I know because I did that) you can buy 4 of them, they all have a little variations. Go buy them in store as separates.

The suit to pant size is very unrealistic.
I got the same suit in black.
I ordered a 44R suit that came with a 38" waist pant. Not sure how they think of that size because I am 34" .
Anyway my wife is pretty decent with altering clothes so she altered the waist.
Definitely good for interviews, office parties and casual parties.
Don't expect it will look like 100% wool suit for sure but is decent.

You don't need a 44R almost certainly unless you are a body builder. That would be athletic fit.

Pants can be altered plus it minus a couple of inches.

"Plus"? You can't add material to the pants to increase the waist size a couple inches. But you can reduce.

A 6 inch drop with suits is pretty common. There's an expectation that most people will have some level of alterations done when buying a suit.
However, for a $100 polyester suit it might not be worth spending any money on alterations.

2 inches may or may not be possible, but either way you don't 'add material'. There's extra material at the seam (usually the back center for trousers) to let out the waist. Again, 2 inches is going to be on the far end of most seam allowances, but it's possible.

Polyester, which is a bummer. Nautica used to have wool suits(travel line too) loved them but must have switched to cut costs.

That's a common drop in suits and, to be blunt, that's about how the human body should be shaped. If someone's dimensions are more than +/- 2 inches from a six inch drop, then either they've spent a lot of time under the bench press or the buffet line.

These suits are made of polyester. Don't get it tailored. It's just a cheap suit to run town around in, maybe a remote interview at best.

Last time I checked, there was no space for them to be altered, usually more expensive ones have a lot of extra fabric in the middle but the cheaper ones usually don't. Like others also said polyester doesn't look so great when altered.

I certainly go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I'm not sure I'd consider myself a bodybuilder, but I do have a gym body. Having said that, I first ordered 42R and tried, the issue was it was tight in the shoulders and arms, not sure of what body type they are designing their suits for, definitely not for someone who regularly goes to the gym. That's the reason I had to size it up and go to 44R. In all honesty, if I have to buy an expensive 100% wool suit, it will be tailored.
