That could be subjective. However, this is the cheapest 5090 with an OLED display. The same configuration at Lenovo costs more than $4400.

True. I wish the 5080 would go a little lower. These are still very new though.

I would buy this if it had no glare like the Thinkpad P14s Gen 5 AMD:

14" 2.8K (2880 x 1800), 120 Hz, OLED, Anti-Glare/Anti-Reflection/Anti-Smudge, Non-Touch, 100% DCI-P3, 400 nits, HDR peak brightness 616 nits

Lenovo should offer 15"+ models with bright matte OLED displays.

Just a reminder - for mobile units, these are all "upshifted" - so MOBILE 5090 is functionally a desktop 5080 at best from a performance expectation standpoint.

you werent playin. you need to customize it and add the 5090 and oled display. It comes out to be $3,031.99 before tax with LEVELUP20 . The omen is a bit chunkier/uglier though.
Looks like there is a thread for it: https://dealquestnow.online/f/18357316-omen-max-gaming-laptop-16-1200p-165hz-ultra-9-275hx-32gb-ddr5-rtx-5090-1tb-ssd-2-879-99

I regret not having bought a 4080 last year. The new laptop prices are ridiculously high.

I wanted one so bad! but I couldn't justify the 2ksh price range. But I wanted a laptop, so I was searching and searching, waiting for a decent 3060 deal, I almost got a 3060 legion, then I woke up and checked micro center, and saw a ASUS AMD advantage 7700S + 7940HS open box, 550 bucks. it was not there the night before. it was like 6am.

Long story short! I went there, they refused to let me buy it at first, said was price mistake but I already reserved it hard to argue the purchase, I bought it, took home, the laptop had a lot of coil whine. - so I went back, the manager said we will refund money, but no deal towards a legion or to swap for another AMD advantage, already lost money on it. I said alright.

next day I decided, lets use micro center warranty repair shop! since they service laptops. the warranty guy called me and said 'why am I fixing this? why dont we just give you a new one!? I said I asked, the manager said no, he said.. well, the manager here today is not the same one from yesterday, come on in, im swapping you a new one.

590 bucks OTD for a brand new Asus laptop, + when I turned it on, gave me 2 year warranty free from Asus.i did do a time spy and its #1 for my pc spec. granted not a popular unit.- had some hiccups, I deleted a lot of the bloatware crap, and it fixed it all. the screen is BEAUTIFUL. I do prefer the legion keyboards spacing a little more.
