Anddddd it's gone
Slightly off topic with regards to the Maple Leaf but can someone explain to me why the American Eagle and American Buffalo are exactly the same price and why someone would buy the Eagle instead of the Buffalo?
Eagle = 1 oz of 91.67% Fine Gold, Price = 3,519.99
Buffalo = 1 oz of 99.99% gold, Price = 3,519.99
Got $2k in Costco gift cards, bought using BofA customized cash last quarter at 5.25%cb ($2500 spend limit per quarter on the bonus). Ready to buy this quarter with a fresh spending limit.
I only buy Canadian leaves, because I'm too lazy to estimate the value of different kinds of coins.

They both have 1toz of gold. The eagle weighs slightly more due to nongold content.
Imo, buy the buffalo if they are the same price. They sometimes trade a little higher than the eagle. The eagle is more durable, but I'm assuming you take good care of your $3000+ gold coins and don't abuse them.
