Also it's shorter than the first game and without story dlc. I paid $41 on release and got my money worth however I was looking forward to dlc back before the "leak and cancel" which seemed highly suspicious

Big mistake. That $100 you save up front will cost you so much more in the long run. Physical games are almost always significantly cheaper than digital. Even when a game goes on sale digitally and physically, the physical version is usually $15+ cheaper. On top of that, the regular price usually stays higher for much longer, digitally. Dark Souls 3, a game that came out in 2016, is still $60 digitally, while it's $20 for a physical copy. That's not a used price, either.
I think that's the exception and not the rule. Even if it wasn't, it's just anti-consumer to control how people use the products they purchase to the point where you can't lend or borrow a video game.
