The 20 piece set is only $15 more ($45) and it at least appears that it has additional pieces that would be useful (as opposed to additional fluff). Does anyone have experience with one over the other?

The 8 pieces of sandpaper definitely seem like "fluff" to me. They should really call that a 12 piece set. It's not bad, but the sandpaper counting as 40% of the "piece count" is annoying.

Honestly I've only needed a multi-material and a curved diamond tip blade (for removing bricks). I've never had to use wood or smaller sized blades.

bought it last time. Garbage. Blades get dull instantly, specially one or two that are for wood with nails. The only nice thing about them is a box they came with.

The 20-piece does look like a good deal. I'm curious if there is a noticeable difference between "titanium charged" (8-piece) and "titanium enhanced" (20-piece).

Basically in the 20 pc set, you are getting
- x8 sand paper (4+4)
- x1 sanding pad
- x1 wood blade
- x2 metal blade
If you exclude the sand paper, is it worth paying $15 extra for a pad attachment and 3 blades Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Do your math, IMHO.

What's a good brand for multi tool blades? I am on my last ryobi blade that i'i've put thru the ringer with cutting a bunch of nails.

IMO, there's not going to be big difference between blade brands until you jump up to carbide ones. Carbide, regardless of brand, makes a huge difference.

I got a cheap china set on amazon.. works great for wood and drywall which was my primary use but the "metal" blade could not cut a single nail and melted. Also had a sanding pad which seems to be OK.

Someday i'll spend the money and get a proper carbide metal blade... someday...

Diablo carbide blades. Pricey, but for good reason.

Yeah, this set is no better than no-name chinese stuff on amazon.
